A breakout retest pattern occurs when a stock moves above a key resistance level and then retraces to test that level as support. This pattern is often observed to evaluate the validity and strength of the breakout.

The stocks listed below follow a Breakout–Retest pattern. This
screener
lists down stocks that are retesting their breakout after periods of consolidation ranging from one month to
several years, including retesting of multi-year breakouts. They have been filtered after analyzing more
than
2,000 stocks in the Indian stock market on daily and weekly timeframes. These stocks meet the
following criteria:
- The stock should have previously faced resistance at a key level.
- It should have given a breakout above that resistance level.
- It should have rallied at least 10% after the breakout.
- It should now be pulling back to retest the breakout level.
- The current market price should be no more than 6% above the breakout level.
- The stock’s market cap should be more than ₹800 Cr.
